The schedule for the 2025 campaign is beginning to come together for A.J. Emms and Emms Racing, with the May schedule being released on social media.
The 2025 season will open with Spring Velocity at Sunset Speedway on May 17 where Emms will be running his familiar No. 14 blue Modified in the 30-lap feature. It marks a big night for the 3/8th-mile oval as they will be hosting the APC Auto Parts United Late Model Series and T.Q. Can-Am Midgets alongside the modifieds. Racing is scheduled to start at 5pm.
Emms will return to the Innisfil, Ontario oval a week later on May 24 for another night of Modified action with another 30 lap feature. It marks another big event as it is their first Fan Appreciation Night of the season. This will include an on-track autograph session which will give you a chance to meet the drivers and see the cars up close. Racing kicks off at 3pm.
The Innisfil oval has proven to be successful previously, with Emms having scored two wins, 10 podiums, and just two results outside of the top-10 in his last 14 appearances.
Emms will finish the month by taking part in the season opener for the Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modifieds at Flamboro Speedway on May 31. It is expected to be another big event, as the track plays host to the Bill Zardo Memorial for the OSCAAR Hot Rods on the same evening. Racing is scheduled to start at 6pm.
Emms has shown speed at the Millgrove, Ontario oval in the past, picking up six podiums in his last eight appearances, including a trip to victory lane.
It is worth noting that in Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified competition, Emms has scored 45 heat wins (2nd all-time), 61 top-five’s (series leading) and 75 top-10’s (series leading) in 91 starts. His sixth-place finish at Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic was his 23rd consecutive top-10, which is a series record.
The rest of the schedule for the 2025 campaign will be released as the season continues.
Emms Racing is proud to be supported by BAE Environmental, Wolseley Lodge, TL Tire, Speedy Glass Orillia, EPIC Racewear, and Short Track Musings for the 2025 campaign.
