PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Running up front throughout the race, A.J. Emms scored a podium finish on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway.
He would pace all 10 laps in the first heat, backed by another performance of the same in the second qualifier.
Come feature time, he quickly moved forward after taking the green flag in fifth, moving up into second with 12 laps on the board. Despite a late-race caution, he was unable to capitalize on a late-race restart, crossing the finish line with a runner-up.
The result builds upon the team’s successful Just Foam it OSCAAR Modified series numbers, which include 43 heat wins, 59 top-five’s (series leading) and 72 top-10’s (series leading) in 88 starts. The feature win also was his 20th consecutive top-10.
Emms Racing is proud to be supported by BAE Enviromental, Wolseley Lodge, TL Tire, Speedy Glass Orillia, Bromley Automotive Ltd, Black Barn Golf Cars, Klotz Canada, Jayne at Good Things Promo, and Short Track Musings for the 2024 race season.
