For the second straight year in a row, Emms Racing Enterprises will unveil their modified for the season at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo.
A.J. Emms enters his third year of OSCAAR Modified competition, following a runner-up finish in points in 2016. With just two finishes outside of the top-10 all season long, Emms was able to put together a career year that was capped off by winning the Autumn Colours Classic.
Emms was also honored at the 2016 OSCAAR banquet with the Best Appearing Award, as well as the Ironman Award. The award is meant to go to overcame adversity throughout the year to run all of the events on the schedule. Emms earned the award as he was able to run all the events this year, despite a crash mid-season at Delaware and motor issues at Flamboro in August.
With plans coming together for 2017, the team is proud to announce Artech Promotional Products, Klotz Canada, and Sunshine Superwash are back on-board as sponsors. A full detailed up-to-date sponsor list, as well as a word about each sponsor will be posted in the coming weeks following this weekend’s unveil.
The Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, taking place at the International Center by Pearson Airport this weekend, is known as the kick-off to the auto racing season in Ontario, with track representatives on hand to discuss their plans, as well as racers unveiling their brand new looks.
